At Vulcan Insurance Group, the safety and security of our clients and community remains our top priority. Our office will maintain normal business operations for as long as it is safe to do so during times of catastrophic events such as Tropical Storms & Hurricanes. Should unforeseen circumstances require a temporary closure, we will reopen as soon as possible.

Please be assured that we will continue to respond to messages and assist with claims filing in a timely manner. If you require immediate claims assistance during any office closure, (including weekends and evenings during normal office closures) please use the carrier claims assistance numbers provided by your carrier or visit your carrier’s website directly. We recommend filing claims online whenever possible, as carrier phone lines may experience high call volumes. Please make sure when you file your claim that you take note of not only the claims number, but the contact information for your direct in house and outside adjusters.

Steps to Take After a Loss:

Document:
Photograph and / or video damaged property for documentation purposes and ensure all documentation is retained in a secure location for the adjuster’s inspection. Please also compile a list of all damaged and destroyed items, including their estimated value.
Repair:
Mitigate further damage by undertaking any necessary temporary or emergency repairs to the covered property.
Keep All Receipts:
Keep all receipts for any repairs or additional living costs incurred as a result of the damage to the property and provide them to the adjuster for consideration. Make sure you ask for an email for your inside / outside adjuster to help make this process more simple.
